FAQ:

1. What ages do we work with? We work with all ages! 2. Are lessons private or group? Our classes are one-on-one private lessons. 3. What types of special needs do we work with? We have experience working with kids with a variety of disabilites including down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and more. 4. What if my child is afraid of the water? That is completely okay. Many children start with fear or hesitation. We focus on building trust, confidence and positive reinforcement! 5. Can parents stay in watch? If your child is comfortable in the water without parents then parents are welcome to stay, but if the child is dependent on parents and cannot focus with them there, we will ask parents to please leave and come back at the end of class. 6. How long are lessons? Classes can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes. We will always start with 30 minutes though. 7. What should my child bring? Swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, and a positive attitude! 8. Are lessons covered by any organizations? We receive payments by some non-profit organizations like InCommunity 9. What is our ultimate goal? Build athletes with disabilities where they are able to learn to swim with technique and discipline. This can later allow them to participate in competitions or just swim to improve their quality of life. 10. What is the recommended number of times to come per week? In our experience like everything else in life the more discipline and consistency, the better the results. We recommend that swimmers come 2-3 times a week. This was results are more noticeable faster, and the child can progress more consecutively. If you are coming once a week, that is more recreational but if you hope to obtain bigger results and goals, once a week will not get you there.
